I just HAD to buy something in the art supply shop.
Settling for this little A6 sketch pad, enigmatically named Arboreta, £ 2.30 seems like my purse was getting of lightly.
What to put in it? Of course, trees. Living in a wood makes it easy, and that is what it's about. Portraits of trees - big, small, beautiful, twisted - whatever story they have to tell, I'll try to capture it here.

It's snow accident....
... that this one is not actually in my little A6 sketchpad. It is more of a tree-scene, and therefore worthy of inclusion (I hope)! Also blogged on Doodles.
Oh yes, worthy. Trees are endlessly fascinating, well deserving of a book of their own.
